Closeness to the college football hall of fame we visited.
It was very dirty and run down. Both pool areas were not very clean, hot tub was broke. Room had very dirty carpet, toilet didn't work right, black soot on the ceiling from the vent.

It was very conveniently located. The staff tried their best to accommodate us under difficult circumstances. The price was very inexpensive.
The air conditioning was only moderately effective. The room was quite "sticky" most of the night... Very humid conditions. There was a bad water stain in the toilet.

Location
Inefficient a/c, did not finally get cool until 4 in the morning. Admittedly it was hot outside, almost a 100 degrees, but the room was not as cool as the administrative area of the motel. The toilet seat was loose. Would not stay there again under any circumstances.

The hotel was in need major of updating, not well kept. Air conditioning didn't work, very hot in room. Peeling paint in and out.Ice machine didn't work. DId not get two double beds as requested in booking, got 1 bed with pull-out couch.

Not completely clean - bugs - doors hard to close - sliding door not locked (only a pice of wood keeping it closed - very expensive because of a football game in town, $60 for Thur, $180 for Fri and Sat. Each. Not the typical Quality Inn experience

This Inn raised prices from last year. Provided only 1 small piece of soap for two persons. Air conditioning did not work and TV reception was poor. General building conditions were poor. I will not stay there again.

Great for a cheap weekend stay, especially for ND games. Rooms are clean, and roomy, stayed four to a room with no problems. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Had to ask for more towels, think they were running out because took the front desk a little bit to bring us more. A small hickup but a generally nice stay.

the breakfast area was nice and the indoor pool was okay. The location is the only reason to stay there. Very quiet.
No towels, no coffee maker (but coffee?) cable was unplugged on TV, dead bugs in the room and bathroom. Outside pool was not cleaned and had dead leaves and twigs in it. Hotel is very musty so allergies were horrendous.

The outdoor pool area was nice. The lobby was pleasant. The staff was accommodating.
I am sorry to say that almost everything about the hotel facilities was substandard. It seemed as if this hotel was great place to go to 40 years ago, but that it had been neglected since. Our room was musty, plaster falling from the ceiling, bathtub stained, rusted bathroom fixtures, refrigerator was old and rusty. The television picture was fuzzy. It looked as if the management was trying to fix the facilities, but they have a long way to go.
